Duratec CrC
Description
Duratec CrC is a chromium-enriched electrode. The electrode deposits a tough metal with medium load impact and medium abrasion resistance. No more than two layers should be deposited over one another and deposits are subject to relief cracking. The deposit is not machineable.
Weld Metal Hardness
45 - 50 Rockwell C
Application
Typical applications include: excavator bucket teeth and lips, dragline buckets, augers, rolling mill guides, pump impellers, conveyor screws, rebuilding of hard-face plate.
